The Live category of the workspace is used to configure all of the events interactive experiences.
This is where you can set up feeds or discussion boards, send and schedule notifications, create live streams with integrated Q&A, polls, and much more.
Feeds
The best way to engage with your audience in real time is by using the feeds, and in particular the home feed.
The home feed is present by default on the home screen of the app and is the best place to share content and communicate with your audience via stories, updates, upcoming sessions, including pictures, videos and links.
This can be accomplished by creating feed posts that can be scheduled in advance based on your content calendar, and sent on behalf of the event, speakers, or sponsors.
Of course, in the same way your participants can share their own thoughts and ideas directly there, further driving engagement with the event and other partipants or sponsors.
Notifications and targeting
You can use notifications to engage directly with your audience and get there attention. This is also a very effective way to quickly share any important updates or news.
By planning your activities and communication in advance, you can ensure that your partipants receive a targeted stream of updates, sent out at the exact appropriate time, that include links to the relevant content in the event.
Live streams with polls, Q&A, clapping
As a critical component of virtual events, the platform allows you to produce and create live interactive streams to keep your audience captivated during your event. All this is done via the Live category of the workspace, and in particular in the Live stream module using SpotMe Studio.
You can also liven up your streams up with integrated Q&A, clapping, polling, and open them up to all your audiences with simultaneous interpretation.
