About this getting started series
Welcome to this getting started guide to creating an app in Backstage.
This series of 15 articles will take you through all the steps needed for you to create an app and become familiar with Backstage.
Before reading this, if you haven't done it already you way wish to take a look at the Overview of the SpotMe platform section, to learn more about the platform as a whole.
For a better experience, we recommend that you go through this series of articles following the below order, from article 1 to article 15.

Onboarding tour in Backstage
When you create your first workspace (or app) in Backstage, you'll have the option of taking our onboarding tour, which will assist you in each step of the creation of a workspace thanks an intuitive to a step by step checklist.
This is a great way to become familiar with everything Backstage has to offer for the creation of your apps, and will also point you the relevant articles in this getting started series.
Note: Should you no longer see the prompt to access the Onboarding tour, you can always access it by creating a test workspace and selecting the Onboarding workspace template, which will display the onboarding checklist.
