Note: This article applies to the "legacy" version of polling, which is deprecated. Please use the new live session polling. More information.
You can export the poll session's results by clicking on the Results tab in the Live polling module in Backstage.
- If you need to export the results of a set of poll sessions, select them and click on the Export selected button.
- If you need to export the results of all the poll sessions, click on the Export all button.
Each polling session is exported in one independent XLS file, and also includes images of the poll results.
The XLS files contain the following information:
- The first sheet in the file is named with the poll name, and is populated with the polling name, polling ID, related agenda session name, related agenda session ID, execution time, targeted audience count, and targeted audience list (this corresponds to the following columns: badge_id, first name, last name, company, position, country, and email).
- From the second sheet onwards, they are named with the question number.
For comparison questions, multiple sheets are created, and they are named with the question number and the postfix -1 and -2 correspondingly.
Each sheet is populated with the question statement, question ID, list of choices (including: choice number, choice statement, number of votes and corresponding percentage over total votes count), votes count, and list of votes (including: badge_id, first name, last name, company, position, country, email and vote).
Images are exported along with the XLS, as a zip file. The zip file will contain a folder per poll that is selected to be exported, containing the XLS and the images.
