How to download an analytics report for my live session?
You can easily download a report that will provide a breakdown of how your attendees watched and interacted with your live session. This includes user information, watch times, clap counts, Q&A questions and poll results.
To download the report, open the live session, and click on the analytics button above the player window. This will open the Analytics window:
Here you can:
- Export a report for the full duration of the live session, by clicking on Download interactions report directly, OR
- Enable Advanced options for interactions report in order to enter a specific start and end time for the report (within the start and end tome of the live session), and then click on Close > Download interactions report.
The export is downloaded locally as an Excel file.
What information does the report contain?
The report contains the following tabs: Viewers (viewer information), Questions (Q&A questions or comments), and individual poll results each in separate sheets.
Viewers information
- Participant profile details: ID in event, first and last name, email, as well as user information imported from user profile in the event for the company, job title, phone number, country, city, website, and LinkedIn profile fields (custom metadata are not included in the analytics report). This includes users who have not accepted cookies.
- Clap count (live): Number of claps during the stream per participant.
- Clap count (VOD): Number of claps during the stream per participant, when watching the on demand recording of the live stream. Clapping in VOD works the same as in live streams - the attendee's claps are visible to any other viewers that are watching the replay at the same time.
- Live stream watch time (seconds): How long each participant has watched the stream in total, in seconds. Any paused time while watching the video will be considered as watched time in this report.
- VOD watch time: How long they have watched the on-demand video of the live stream (in seconds), when the video is published. Any paused time while watching the on demand video will be considered as watched time in this report.
Q&A questions
- Participant profile details: ID in event, first and last name, email, as well as user information imported from user profile in the event for the company, job title, phone number, country, city, website, and LinkedIn profile fields (custom metadata are not included in the analytics report). Only the participants that posted questions are listed. If a participant posted a question anonymously, this profile information will not be listed (only the question will appear).
This includes users who have not accepted cookies. - Question: Question asked during the stream by the participant (unless posted as anonymous).
- Sent at: Date and time the question was posted by participant.
- Status of the questions posted by participants in the Q&A moderation (incoming / approved for discussion / archived).
- Discussed? Indicates whether the question was discussed during the stream (added to the For discussion tab).
Poll results
Each poll broadcasted in the live stream, multiple choice or word cloud, including the responses from the audience, will appear as a separate sheet in the exported file.
Each sheet will contain:
- Poll summary: The question, time when the poll was launched and closed, number of views and total number of votes (multiple choice) or responses (word cloud).
- Result summary: For multiple choice questions each option in the poll is displayed, with the number of votes. For word cloud polls, each submitted response from the attendee is displayed as an "option".
- User details: For each user that participated in the poll, their ID in the event, first and last name, email, as well as user information imported from user profile for the company, job title, phone number, country, city, website, and LinkedIn profile fields (custom metadata are not included in the analytics report).
