There is a difference between unpublishing and removing apps from the public stores.
When an app is unpublished, it becomes publicly unavailable for download, but it still exists under your developer account.
When an app is removed, it disappears from both - the public stores and your developer accounts.
To unpublish an app from Google Play:
- Log in here: https://play.google.com/apps/publish.
- Search for the app name and select it.
- Go to Store Presence > Pricing and Distribution.
- Under App Availability, click on UNPUBLISH and then click on Submit update.
To unpublish an app from the App Store:
- Log in here: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/.
- Go to My Apps and select your app container
- Go to Pricing and Availability
- Select Remove from Sale and Save
To remove an app from the App Store:
- Log in here: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/.
- Go to My Apps.
- Search for the app name and select it.
- Under the App Information section, at the bottom of the page click on Remove app and then Confirm.
To remove an app from Google Play:
