The tools in this category are used to configure all of the app's interactive experiences.
You can set up feeds for app users, write and schedule notifications, create Q&A requests, polls, and much more.
Watch the below video for a tour of the live functionalities in Backstage.
Backstage can allow you to easily keep users engaged with meaningful content, by planning, scheduling, and running live experiences.
The best way to engage with your audience is by using the Home Feed. This is the home screen of your workspace in the app, and is the best place to share stories, updates, upcoming tasks, or links.
This can be accomplished by creating posts that can be scheduled in advance based on your content calendar.
Notifications and targeting
Backstage allows you to engage directly and at all times with the app users by planning your activities and communication in advance, so that your users have a constant stream of targeted updates.
This is done via the Notifications module, which is very useful for quickly and effectively sharing any important updates or news.
You can also choose to send a notification to a specific group of users. This can be accomplished using targeting. For example, targeting can allow you to simply say, "send this notification to everyone who works at “Acme inc”, except “Janice”. While configuring this you can always double-check who will get the notification.
Polling and Q&A
To really get the attention of your app users, you can use interactive modules like Polling or Q&A.
Polls are easy to set up using a simple drag and drop editor, and can be controlled and moderated directly from Backstage.
These functionalities allow you to control exactly what users will see on their devices. To do so, you can push questions to their devices, preview results, share the results with users on their devices, and also project the results onto a large screen.
