Which contract / legal document do you require me to sign?

If your application is accepted, our team will send you 2 documents to sign:

• 1 acknowledgement form (that you have been informed about our internal policies)
• 1 consultancy contract (specifying your compensation rate and scope of work)

What is required from me in terms of background check?

For compliancy reasons, you are required to provide us results from a background check at your cost. It's up to you to decide on the provider. 

Requirements per country:

• UK: basic DBS check result - https://www.apply-basic-criminal-record-check.service.gov.uk/view-e-result/employer/.

• US: nationwide criminal search for 5 years back and federal 10-year criminal search at federal and county levels. (A statewide criminal background check typically runs $10-$20 and national background checks usually cost $25-$45). You can decide on the provider.

• Switzerland: standard Credit & Criminal Record Report (more information here: https://www.ch.ch/en/criminal-record-certificate/ and https://www.ch.ch/en/extract-debt-collection-register/).

• France: nothing needed.

• Singapore: Certificate of Clearance (COC). https://eservices1.police.gov.sg/phub/eservices/landingpage/apply-pay-for-coc

• Australia: Apply for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check through your State or Territory police force. Contact your Australian police agency via their website:

  • Australian Federal Police
  • ACT Policing (processed by the AFP)
  • New South Wales Police
  • Northern Territory Police
  • Queensland Police
  • South Australia Police
  • Tasmania Police
  • Victoria Police
  • Western Australia Police Force

Invoicing

How do I invoice SpotMe?

For entities invoicing us (registered companies / freelancers), guidelines can be found here.

For payroll-based members, you can contact our HR team for any question on the process at sdn@spotme.com.

Is there an allowance for internet and mobile phone?

At this stage, we don't provide allowance for these.

For Live Coordinators, all meetings are meant to be conducted via the Zoom Pro account that is provided.

Can I charge for training / other non-customer project related tasks?

Is billable:

• Work on customer project as confirmed by our Project Managers

Enterprise systems

Which enterprise systems will I be given access to?

As Live Stream Producer:

• Backstage, our CMS

As Live Coordinator:

• Backstage, our CMS
• SpotMe email account (for internal and external communications)
• Zoom Pro account (for meetings)
• Slack (for internal communications)

Do you provide a tool to track time?

No, it is for you to track time on your own (most of our freelancers use a simple spreadsheet).

Do you provide access to MS Office?

No, you will need to use your own MS office licence, or alternatively use Google Docs.
