Customizing the Pending registrations list based on your needs

When you are managing your pending event registrations or the event registration waitlist, you need to have easy access to certain registrant information in order to efficiently decide whether or not to approve a registration.

With this in mind, you can now customize the Pending registrations list:

• Choose what fields/columns will be displayed in the list, based on those present in the registration page form(s).
• Choose where the columns will be positioned in the list.
• Adjust the width of the columns in the list in order to see crucial information that might not initially fit at a glance.

(1) The Customize columns button allows users to edit the information present in the Pending registrations list:

(2) Users can perform searches among the metadata that is used in the workspace’s registration page form(s), to easily identify a specific metadata.

(3) Users can select/unselect the metadata here using the check boxes. Only the metadata that is selected will be added to the list. Keep in mind that metadata that contains links cannot be unselected (they cannot be removed from the list, but they can be moved).

(4) Use the move buttons on the right to change the position of the metadata in the list. Moving a metadata up in the list will move it over to the left in the list.

(5) When you are done selecting your metadata and moving them into the right position, click on Apply.

To further customize the Pending registrations list, and in particular to help you see crucial information that might not initially fit at a glance in the list, you can adjust the width of the columns. 

This is simply done by moving selecting, dragging, and releasing the separator for the column width:

Notes:
- The Pending registrations list can be modified by any Backstage user with the Manager or Editor role in the specific workspace. 
- Any changes will be automatically visible to all the Backstage users who access the Pending registration list in this workspace.
- Fields that contain links can only be moved in the list, and cannot be removed from the list.
- The fields that can be added to the Pending registration list are by default the fields that are being used in the registration form(s).
- The Pending registrations export will always include all the existing user fields (and not just the fields visible in the list).
- The Pending registrations list will be scrollable sideways if needed to accommodate the number of columns added to the list.

Tip: To save time and to facilitate configuration, any changes made to the Pending registrations list in a workspace template are automatically supported when creating a workspace from the template (or from an existing workspace).
