Event registration overview in the workspace dashboard
To track your event registrations, you can refer to the workspace dashboard, accessible via the Dashboard item in the main menu:
Here you can refer to the Registrations tab at the top of the screen.
The Registrations tab is visible before the event start date and during the event, and is no longer visible once the event end date has passed.
The information displayed here will vary depending on whether you are using a public (open) registration page, a private (RSVP) page, or a combination of the two (public & private).
When accessing the registration tab, you will always see the "Total" registrations (since the registration page was made accessible), versus the "Today" registrations (the actual numbers for the present day).
If you are using a Public (open) registration page
Here, in the Registrations section, you will see a breakdown of:
- The number of pending registrations (registrations that still require manual approval, if enabled).
- The number of self-registered users (fully completed registrations).
If you are using a Private (RSVP) registration page
Here, in the Registrations section, you will see a breakdown of:
- The number of invitees that have accepted the RSVP
- The number of invitees that have declined
- The number of invitees who have not yet responded (pending).
If you are using a Public & private registration page combined
if you are using a combined public & private registration page, you will see all the information described previously:
- The number of pending registrations (registrations that still require manual approval, if enabled).
- The number of self-registered users (fully completed registrations, ).
- The number of invitees that have accepted the RSVP
- The number of invitees that have declined
- The number of invitees who have not yet responded (pending).
Event registration analytics reports in the workspace dashboard
To download a detailed report of the registration analytics, you can go to the workspace dashboard and download a Registration and activations report:
Here, you can, if needed:
- Edit the start and end date for the report you wish to generate (by default the report will use the start and end date of the event).
- Select the attendee platforms that you want to include in the report.
- Edit the fields that you wish to include in the export (all fields are included by default)
Click on Download XLS to generate and save the .zip file containing the report.
Below is a view of each tab that the report contains, and the information in each tab:
Attendance summary:
Contains a summary of user attendance for the current day, with detailed descriptions.
Activity summary:
Contains a summary of user activity for the total time and per day/week, with detailed descriptions.
Note: Any action in the app such as viewing a feed, the agenda, a document, a live session etc. is considered a "user activity".

Note: The "Self registration" date and time corresponds to when the attendee self registered to the event via public registration. If manual approval is configured, then this date and time corresponds to when the registration was manually approved.

See the registration status of attendees in the users list
The registration information described below is present in the user list only when the registration page module is enabled. The workspace dashboard also contains information on how your registration page is performing, for public (open), private (RSVP, and public & private registration pages.
While using the Registration page in your workspace, you can see the registration status of your registrants or invitees.
This is visible in the Registration column, where users can have any of the following statuses:
- Self-registered: the user has registered via public registration
- Not invited: the user is added to Backstage but has not yet been sent the RSVP invitation email
- Invited: the user is added to Backstage and has been sent the RSVP invitation email
- Attending: the user has received and accepted the RSVP invitation.
- Not attending: the user has received and has declined the RSVP invitation.
For the purpose of private (RSVP), here you can easily identify who has not yet been invited, or who has not yet responded to the RSVP, in order to send them invitation or reminder emails.
Important: Remember that the registration status is completely distinct to the user status in the workspace.
