How to enable dark mode for Backstage

The below described feature will be available starting September 10, 2024.

Dark mode can be enable on Backstage, to provide additional eye comfort for Backstage users. Using dark mode in Backstage has no effect at all on the appearance of the app.

From the moment you login to Backstage, you can at any time enable dark mode using the toggle in the bottom left of any page:

Once dark mode is enabled you can switch back to light mode at any time using the same toggle.

Dark mode will remain activated, even after logging out and then logging back in to Backstage, until you toggle the "light" mode on using the same switch in the bottom left corner of the screen:
