This article explains how to log in to Backstage for the first time.
This includes receiving the invitation email, creating your password, and logging into Backstage.
Receiving your Backstage invitation email
As a new Backstage user with a recently created account, you will receive a Backstage invitation email from SpotMe:
This invitation is sent via Backstage, by your SpotMe account manager or your organization admin.
In the email, simply click on Log in to Backstage to create your password.
Creating your password
After clicking on Log in to Backstage in the invitation email, simply fill in the fields below with your full name and your password, accept our privacy policy document, and then click on Confirm account.
Note: You will receive a confirmation email saying that your account has been successfully created.
Logging into Backstage
Once you have created your password and received the confirmation email, you can access the Backstage log-in window.
Here, you can enter your email address and password and then click on SIGN IN.
Note: To facilitate your access to Backstage, you can also use the Enterprise login.
This is a SAML2 only SSO log-in that can be set up for your organization. To find out how to set this up for your organization, please reach out to SpotMe support.
Tip: You can change your Backstage password at any time by clicking on RESET PASSWORD. More information is also available on password requirements.
Once you have logged into Backstage, the Backstage home page is displayed.
