How to download an analytics report for my live session?
The below described individual live session analytics report, generated from within the Live session (in Studio), is also included as an individual XLS file when you download a full Live sessions report via the workspace dashboard.
Within the Studio interface for a live session, you can generate an analytics report that will provide a breakdown of how your attendees watched and interacted with that specific live session.
To download the report, open the live session, and click on the analytics button in the top left above the player window. This will open the below window:
Here you can:
- Modify the start and end date/time for the report. The start date/time is by default the start date/time of the live session, and the end date/time is the moment at which the user clicks on the "Analytics" button.
- Choose whether to include data for users based on the platform they use (web app on mobile or on desktop), the mobile iOS app, or the mobile Android app.
- Choose specific fields (user metadata) to include in the export. First name, Last name, and email address are included by default. More fields are available by clicking on the Show more button.
Click on Download XLS. The report is downloaded locally as an Excel file.
What does the analytics report contain?

Technical notes
For hybrid sessions, please note that the report will show analytics for each attendee based on whether they are attending virtually (with a live stream) or in-person (without a live stream).
Virtual attendees who enter and leave the live session before the stream has started are not included in the viewers reports. Virtual attendees who enter the live session after the stream ends are not included in the viewers reports.
In-person attendees who enter the live session page will appear in the viewers reports showing N/A in the "watch time", as there is no stream for them to watch.
