How to revoke permalink accesses

Permalinks are created by Backstage in order to securely grant stakeholders access to specific content or functionalities in a workspace, without giving the person full access to Backstage.

Some examples of permalinks that can be created are:

• Speaker and moderator permalinks in Studio or RTMPS live streams, that are created when you invite speakers or moderators.
• Moderator permalinks for accessing and moderating Q&A.
• Sponsor permalinks for completing their profile information and scheduling breakouts.

These permalinks can all be displayed in the workspace, by navigating to Settings > Permalinks in the main menu:

Here you can click on the Revoke button for each listed permalink, in order to deactivate the permalink permissions.

Revoking a permalink means that the user will no longer be able to use it to access the corresponding workspace content or functionality.
