Onomi CongressIQ Field App updates

Quick scanning: When representatives need to capture several leads in quick succession, Quick scanning lets them stay in capture mode without stopping to qualify each interaction. They can scan or enter leads one after another and return to qualification later. Find out more

Keep suggested matches relevant: Representatives can select No match when none of the suggested matches are correct, or mark a captured lead as Out of scope when it should not be resolved. This lets representatives keep their captured leads relevant on the spot, while helping ensure future identity lookups don’t return out-of-scope results. Find out more

Audio dictation: Representatives can record their voice to enter text in fields that support text input, making it quicker and easier to add notes while working on a busy congress or trade show floor. Find out more

Review automatic field mapping
Representatives can now review the fields automatically mapped from a scanned badge and make corrections when needed before completing the lead capture. This helps ensure the information captured through optical scanning is accurate. Find out more

Continuous saving: Lead captures are automatically saved as representatives work. If a capture is interrupted, for example if the device is locked or the app is closed, they can simply pick up where they left off without losing the information already entered.

Quick access to leads requiring action: The Leads widget now provides a direct link to interactions that need attention, so representatives can quickly find and complete outstanding captures.

These updates are available starting October 6, 2026.

Before your congress, make sure representatives are running the latest version of the mobile app.

Email delivery status visibility in Appointments

Backstage users can now easily see when meeting or meeting request emails have not been successfully delivered. A banner in the Meetings, Meeting requests, and Calendar views has been added, and links directly to the relevant email logs, where users can filter emails by feature, status, and status change date and time. Meeting planner notification adjustments and new meeting organizer notification email

We have adjusted the meeting planner notification setting so Backstage users can now choose exactly when a meeting planner should receive the email notification. Find out more

We’ve also added a new Meeting organizer notification email setting, so meeting organizers can receive an email whenever a participant responds to their meeting invitations. This allows meeting organizers to have full visibility into RSVP responses for their meetings. Find out more

Improved search results for Appointments module

To help quickly and precisely identify specific meetings, we have improved the search in Backstage as well as the web and mobile app, so that matches are returned when entering any part of a meeting's title, description, organizer, participant, or location.

Allow locations to be booked for a meeting even if the attendee count surpasses capacity

A new “Allow capacity overages” setting is now available in the Appointment module when creating locations. This can be enabled to allow planners to book meeting locations even if the meeting participant count surpasses the location’s capacity. Find out more

See location capacity at a glance when scheduling meetings

Meeting planners scheduling meetings via Backstage or the app, in the meeting list or the calendar view, will now always be able to clearly see the meeting location capacity, in order to help select the most suitable location for their meeting.

Meetings using custom locations now appear in their own “Custom location” section

Meeting planners in Backstage or using the app will now see a separate dedicated column for all meetings that will take place in custom entered locations, so they can easily see them alongside the meetings that take place in predefined locations.

Emails section in Backstage now moved to its own dedicated menu item

We have moved the Emails section out of the Design category in Backstage, so it is now a standalone menu item.
