Onomi CongressIQ Field App updates

Quick scanning: When representatives need to capture several leads in quick succession, Quick scanning lets them stay in capture mode without stopping to qualify each interaction. They can scan or enter leads one after another and return to qualification later. Find out more

Keep suggested matches relevant: Representatives can select No match when none of the suggested matches are correct, or mark a captured lead as Out of scope when it should not be resolved. This lets representatives keep their captured leads relevant on the spot, while helping ensure future identity lookups don’t return out-of-scope results. Find out more

Audio dictation: Representatives can record their voice to enter text in fields that support text input, making it quicker and easier to add notes while working on a busy congress or trade show floor. Find out more

Review automatic field mapping
Representatives can now review the fields automatically mapped from a scanned badge and make corrections when needed before completing the lead capture. This helps ensure the information captured through optical scanning is accurate. Find out more

Continuous saving: Lead captures are automatically saved as representatives work. If a capture is interrupted, for example if the device is locked or the app is closed, they can simply pick up where they left off without losing the information already entered.

Quick access to leads requiring action: The Leads widget now provides a direct link to interactions that need attention, so representatives can quickly find and complete outstanding captures.

Conditional form fields: For form elements that are radio button, check box, dropdown, or consent types, Backstage users can now add a rule (visibility condition) that will determine whether or not the field will be displayed or not to the rep for them to fill-in. Find out more

Other form updates: Links to app content are now fully supported in text fields added to lead capture forms.

Exclude irrelevant text from optical badge scanning
(Available starting October 13, 2026) Backstage users can now configure optical scanning to ignore event-related text on lead badges, such as event names or locations, preventing irrelevant information from being captured as lead details. Find out more

Email delivery status visibility in Appointments

Backstage users can now easily see the delivery status for meetings and meeting request emails. A banner will appear when emails couldn't be delivered with a quick link to the logs section, where users can filter by feature, status, and status change date. Find out more

Meeting planner notification adjustments and new meeting organizer notification email

We've adjusted the meeting planner notification setting so Backstage users can now choose exactly what type of notifications a meeting planner should receive. Find out more

A new meeting organizer notification email setting lets organizers receive an email whenever someone responds to their meeting invitation, with the option to reply directly to the participant. Find out more

Improved search results for Appointments module

To help quickly and precisely identify specific meetings, we have improved the search in Backstage as well as the web and mobile app, so that matches are returned when entering any part of a meeting's title, description, organizer, participant, or location.

Book beyond room capacity

The new “Allow capacity overages” setting lets planners accommodate last-minute additions, such as adding a key leader to a meeting, even when the room has reached its capacity. Find out more

See location capacity at a glance when scheduling meetings

Meeting planners scheduling meetings via Backstage or the app, in the meeting list or the calendar view, will now always be able to clearly see the meeting location capacity, in order to help select the most suitable location for their meeting.

Meetings using custom locations now appear in their own “Custom location” section

Meeting planners in Backstage or using the app will now see a separate dedicated column for all meetings that will take place in custom entered locations, so they can easily see them alongside the meetings that take place in predefined locations.

Emails section in Backstage now moved to its own dedicated menu item

We have moved the Emails section out of the Design category in Backstage, so it is now a standalone menu item.
