Customize the meeting information visible in the app Backstage users can now customize meeting details using the display templates, showing attendees only the most relevant information. Default fields can be rearranged or removed to highlight what matters most, making details easier to scan. Teams can add custom text, metadata, and external links to share context like booth locations, maps, or supporting content. Forms, surveys, and signature capture links can also be included to collect feedback, to confirm attendance and capture insights in real time for better reporting and CRM integration. Find out more |

Meeting dashboard report updates Meeting participant information has been moved out of the "Meetings" sheet and into a newly a dedicated Meetings participant sheet. Action required - New classification to distinguish transactional and promotional emails We are introducing a new classification option for email templates in Backstage. This allows templates to be clearly labeled as either “Transactional” or “Promotional”. This classification serves two purposes:
The email templates included in the SpotMe / Onomi workspace templates and modules will be updated automatically. The email templates used in the workspaces and workspace templates that belong to your organization will not be automatically updated, and must be updated by a team member of your organization. This is to avoid doing anything to organizationally approved templates that could impact the operation of your events. Please refer to the information included in the "Promotional" or "Transactional" email classification article for detailed information on the changes implemented and the actions you need to perform. |

Information added to explain that some calendar apps do not support presetting the meeting response for a participant Some calendar apps don’t support preset meeting responses. As a result, meetings created in Backstage with a preset response (for example, “Accepted”) may still appear as “Pending” in those participants’ calendars. You can choose to use the default Meeting planner notification email, or any other template that is present in the workspace, including your own custom templates.
