How does the "Hide form other apps" checkbox work in the workspace general settings?

After creating your workspace using the wizard, if you go to the workspace general settings, you may see a checkbox beneath the Container app dropdown called Hide from other apps:

Note: This Hide from other apps checkbox in the workspace setting is only editable IF it is enabled at the app container level (accessible only to SpotMe support).

These check boxes, at the app container level (accessible to SpotMe support only) and at the workspace level, are used together to determine whether a workspace will be visible in the My events list for the specific mobile app container.

If, in the My events list of the mobile app, you notice that your workspace (event) is not listed there, you can go to the workspace general settings and see if the Hide from other apps checkbox is selected or not. Our recommendation is that this checkbox should always be selected in the workspace general settings.

If, after selecting the Hide from other apps checkbox in the workspace settings, you are still unable to see your workspace in the my events list, please contact SpotMe support for assistance.
