Enhanced security for Backstage access with MFA

This month, as announced, we will be automatically enabling SMS-based MFA for all organizations.

This means that, if SSO is not used to log-in, we will by default require SMS-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in order to access Backstage. Find out more

MFA will be enabled automatically starting December 3, 2024, on all organizations.

If you wish to opt in and activate MFA for your organization prior to the December 3 roll out, please contact SpotMe Support.

Added flexibility for the attendee experience at hybrid events

To provide additional flexibility during events with hybrid live sessions, attendees will now be able to enable or disable the live stream in the app depending on their immediate needs.

This is perfect for adapting to last-minute changes without having to make any adjustments in Backstage. Find out more

To see these changes, make sure you are using the latest version of the Live sessions module and the latest version of the mobile apps for your event.

More visibility in Appointments for representatives

When accessing the calendar view in the new Appointments module, representatives using the app will now be able to display all the meetings that are scheduled for a room or for another representative. Find out more

Closed captions with Interprefy

You can now use Interprefy to provide attendees with closed captions during live sessions. This is done by embedding an Interprefy widget in the session page display template, using the "Embed" component type. Find out more
