The "user status" in the workspace - user activation and visibility
The “user status” depicts whether the user has access to (or is allowed to access) the app, as well as whether they are visible to other app users.
This status is visible in the user page in the workspace, as well as the user list export, in the fp_status column.
This status can be edited for each user via Backstage.

Active means that the app user will be active and visible in the workspace to other app users, this is the standard option that should be used for your workspace app users.
→ Users (participants) that are added to the workspace via Backstage (manually or import) or via an integration or via a registration page will by default have an "Active" status.

Hidden means that the user will not be visible to other app users.
This option is selected by default for the workspace creator (or Backstage user) to make them invisible to other app users in the workspace.
→ The Backstage user that created the workspace is automatically added to the workspace user list with a "Hidden" status.

Cancelled means that the app user no longer has access to the workspace. This can be used to remove an app user from the workspace. Cancelled users will not receive any emails from the event.

Pending means that the user registered via the public registration page (without manual approval) but has not confirmed their email address.
→ Users (participants) that register via a public registration page have a "Pending" status up until until they confirm their email address via the confirmation email link.
→ Users (participants) that register via a public registration page and have confirmed their email address will have an "Active" status.

The "user registration status" in the workspace - origin of the user and registration status
The "user registration status" includes statuses that relate to how the user was added to the workspace or how they registered.
This status is visible in the user list of the workspace, as well as in the Registrations and activations report in the workspace dashboard, in the User details sheet, in the User registration status column.
This status cannot be edited for each user via Backstage.

N/A: The Backstage user that created the workspace is automatically added to the workspace user list with a N/A registration status.

Self-registered means that the user has self-registered via the public registration page.

Backstage import means that the user was added to the workspace (via Backstage manually or imported, or via integration) with no RSVP registration enabled on the workspace.

Not invited means that the user was added to the workspace via Backstage (via Backstage manually or imported, or via integration) with RSVP registration enabled on the workspace.

Invited means that the user had the "not invited" status, and has been sent the RSVP invitation email in order to now have the "invited" status.

Attending means the user was added to the workspace via Backstage (manually or imported) or via integration, has received the RSVP invitation email, and has accepted the RSVP invitation.
- Not attending means the user was added to the workspace via Backstage (manually or imported) or via integration, has received the RSVP invitation email, and has declined the RSVP invitation.

The "user attendance status" in the workspace
The "user attendance status" is visible in the event attendance dashboard report (in the event attendance sheet), in the users report (attendance_status column), and in the individual user page in the workspace.
This status cannot be edited for each user via Backstage.

Not invited means that the user was added to the workspace via Backstage (via Backstage manually or imported, or via integration), irrelevant of whether a registration page with or without RSVP was enabled on the workspace. The user has not received an email containing a link to access the event.

Invited means that the user was added to the workspace via Backstage (via Backstage manually or imported, or via integration AND has been sent an email that contains any type of link to access the event app, or an RSVP invitation email.

Registered means that the user has fully registered via the public registration or by accepting an RSVP invitation email OR that the user was invited (without the event using registration) and accessed the app.

Pending means that the user has registered via the public registration, but their registration is not yet approved (manual approval is needed or the attendee is waitlisted) by the event organizer.

Registration not accepted means that the user previously had a "Pending" attendance status, but their public registration was not approved (via the manual approval or waitlist) by the event organizer.

Invitation declined means that the user attendance status was “Invited”, as they had been added to Backstage and sent an RSVP invitation, but they declined the RSVP invitation.
- No reply means the user attendance status was still “Invited” at the end of the event, and was therefore set to "No reply".

No show means that the user's attendance status was “Registered” but they ultimately did not meet the event attendance criteria (they did not attend), and therefore their status was set to "No show".
- Attended means that the user attendance status was “Registered”, and they met the event attendance criteria, and therefore their status was set to "Attended".

The "User status" in the content hub
This field is located in the user page in the content hub, as well as in the User details and activity report in the content hub dashboard, in the Users tab, in the User fp_status column.
This status can be edited for each content hub user via Backstage.

Active means that the app user is active and has confirmed their access to the content hub.
→ Users that are added to the workspace via Backstage (manually or import) or via an integration or via a registration page will by default have an "Active" status.

Hidden means that this user will not be visible to other content hub visitors.
→ The Backstage user that created the content hub is automatically added to the workspace user list with a "Hidden" status.

Cancelled means that the content hub visitor no longer has access to the workspace. This can be used to remove the access for a visitor to the content hub. Cancelled users will not receive any emails from the content hub.

This status is visible in the content hub user list, in the Registration column.
It is also present in the content hub dashboard Registration and activations report, in the User details tab, in the User registration status column.

Backstage import means the user was added manually or imported via XLS.

Not invited means the user has not received an email from the content hub.

Invited, not activated means the user has received an email from the content hub but has not accessed the content hub.

Active means the user has received an email from the content hub (or has registered) and has accessed the content hub.

Unverified registration means the user has registered to the content hub via the registration page, but has not confirmed their email address.

Cancelled means the user has been cancelled in Backstage and can no longer access the content hub
- Hidden means the user is set to hidden in their user profile.
