A content hub is a branded web page where you, as a Backstage user, can upload, manage and publish any video content or documents that you want to share, on-demand, with your audience.
By accessing the content hub via their browser, your audience will be able to see a full list of the available videos and documents. They will also see any highlighted categories and can use tags to better filter and identify the content they are looking for. They can watch videos, applaud, download documents, and engage with your videos directly, on-demand.

When you create a content hub in Backstage on behalf of your organization, you decide what content you want to make available there. This can be done by connecting existing events to the content hub, or by uploading content manually from your computer.
By connecting events to a content hub, all the live session (live stream) recordings for those events are automatically pulled into the content hub. Documents, on the other hand, are not imported automatically and need to be uploaded manually.
Alternatively, you can upload files (documents and videos) directly from your computer to the content hub.
Once you have added your videos and documents to the content hub, you can also add your custom branding, edit the existing video and document content, create categories and tags to better organize your content and facilitate searching, and finally publish your videos and documents.
Finally, once you are ready to make your content hub available to your audience, you will also need to send invitation emails to your audience to get them to access it.

If closed captions were activated on your event's live session stream, then the closed captions will also be available for use in the imported video in the content hub.
As the admin of the content hub, you will be able to collect the audience engagement data for the content that is published in the content hub.
