    Backstage

    New congress companion app template
    We've created a new companion app workspace template that has all the tools that your teams need. Boost the event ROI and team satisfaction at congresses, encourage networking, and equip your sales representatives to generate leads and gather intelligence. Our app is specially designed to support your team's success at events, ensuring that you make the most of every opportunity. More information    		 Available automatically on Backstage.     Poll countdown and automatic closing and sharing of results
    Keep the clock ticking by adding a response time countdown to your multiple choice and word cloud polls. You also get to choose whether to automatically close voting and hide or show the poll results at the end of the countdown. More information    		 Please update your mobile apps to the latest version to see this change.
    Registration page improvements
    You can now configure your registration page to select exactly what emails will be sent out at each step of the registration process, based on the information provided by attendees when they register. A new option has also been added that allows your attendees to update their user profile after registering, when they click on the "Access the event" link in their confirmation email.     Theme editor redesign
    We've redesigned the Theme editor for a more clear and comfortable user experience when customizing the look and feel of your event app, including clear previews of the web and mobile app. More information    		 Available automatically on all workspaces created after April 11, 2023. Not available on workspaces created before April 11, 2023.
    Swoogo integration
    Use the Swoogo <> SpotMe integration to connect your event in Swoogo with your event app in SpotMe. All the organizational aspects of the event are handled within the Swoogo event, where you can select an existing SpotMe workspace in order to import data via the integration. More information    		 You will need to install the new Swoogo integration module to use this functionality.
    Improved email custom targeting
    For a more comfortable use experience, we've upgraded the user interface for using custom targeting when sending emails to your audience. More information    		 Available automatically on Backstage. No action needed.
    New "upload videos" button in Videos section in live sessions
    You can now directly upload videos to the live sessions, via the videos section. Doing this will simultaneously upload the videos to the video library and to the live session. More information    		 Please update the Live sessions module to see these changes
    New access registration page link in email editor
    When adding links to your email templates, you can now use the "access registration page link" {{_registration_link}}. This link will open the registration page, allowing the user to register, update their information (if enabled and the attendee is already registered) or continue to the event (if the event is in "production" status). More information    		 Available automatically on Backstage. No action needed.
    Default legal document for webinars
    The default legal document for webinars is now taken from the organization's default workspace settings in Backstage.     More information    		 Available automatically on all workspaces. No action needed.
    Improved stability for delivering notifications for forms
    We've made some adjustments to the forms module to ensure that all notifications are successfully delivered at the specified time, and that time/date changes can be effectively made to scheduled forms.    		 Please update the Forms module to see these changes.
    New “clean old data” button for disabling Digests
    When deactivating Digests in your event so that no digests are sent to attendees, please go to Notifications > Clean old digests data tab, and click on the Clean old data button. More information    		 Please update the Notifications module to see these changes.
    Updates to agenda session registration and capacity management
    The settings for managing the default agenda session registration capacity, registration block colors, and registration cut-off times have been moved out of the session-registration-restrictions package and into the Session module > Preferences > Session section.     • In Backstage: In the list of polls in the live session, polls can now be reordered into the order in which they will be launched.

    • In Backstage: The name of the live session is now displayed instead of the live session ID, when association a live session to activity challenge activities (Live session Q&A, polls, claps).
    • In Backstage: When playing a pre-recorded video, we have changed the text of the "Play live" button to "Play now", to avoid any confusion when playing a video before the session live on stage.

    Meetings (v3.0.2)

    • Enhanced meeting module: You can now add your own meeting locations in Backstage with their own capacity and availability periods. These locations can then be booked in Backstage or by attendees, for meetings with other app users and/or attendees that are not using the app. More information

    Fix

    • In Backstage: Improved support for displaying custom speaker profile pages (display templates) on mobile app.
    • In Backstage: The speaker first name and last name fields are now mandatory, for more consistency when displaying names, and are always displayed as Firstname Lastname (without a comma).

    Users (v2.37.0)

    Fixes

    • In app: Improved support for displaying initials and user names in user profiles.
    • In Backstage: Aligned the date format used in the Activity feed so it matches the standard format used in Backstage.

    • In Backstage: A "Cancelled at" column has now ben included in the user export, to include the date and time at which a user's status was set to "cancelled" (when applicable).

    Veeva integration (v2.6.1)
