To note, as part of the technical migration towards this new solution, the current version of the video call functionality (used in the Chat module and for virtual meetings) will be retired on web app and mobile starting May 7, 2025.

Add a CC email contact to receive and action event communications

Allow your attendees to add a secondary contact email address to their user profile, ensuring that event-related communications are received and responded to without issue. This is ideal for attendees who have a staff member or assistant managing their agenda or event participation. The Email CC field can be added directly to the user profile in the workspace or provided during the registration process. Find out more

Target your event content and communications based on whether someone attended the event

We've just made our targeting more powerful. Whether it's an app menu item, a page, a session, or even an email or notification, you can now use the user event attendance status when configuring targeting, and combine it with other fields for even greater precision. Find out more

Want to decide who can schedule meetings when using the app? In Backstage you can now fully enable or disable app users from scheduling meetings, or use targeting to decide specifically who can schedule meetings. Find out more

Appointments - Manage who can book specific locations for their meetings

For each meeting location, you can now use the meeting location permissions field in order to choose who among your app users can book the location and have visibility into the meetings that will take place there. Find out more

Mobile app design and label adjustments for improved consistency and accessibility

We have made various adjustments to the mobile app user interface, in particular to the activation flow, the events list, account screens, and app menu screen (including the bottom bar). These updates include:

• Design and label adjustments for improved consistency.
• Improved support for dynamic text, so that when the user enlarges the text via the settings of their phone, the text in the app is also enlarged.
• Adjustments made to further support screen readers and voice over (VoiceOver in iOS and TalkBack on Android), as well as user navigation via gestures (swipes and double taps).

Available starting May 7, 2025. Please make sure you are using the latest available version of the mobile apps to see these changes.
