Capture deeper insights with more engaging video breakout polls

We’ve upgraded polls in video breakouts to give moderators more flexibility and control. Moderators can now prepare multiple polls in advance and decide exactly when to launch each one.

The refreshed experience provides full control over poll timing, including when polls open and close, making it easier to gather meaningful insights throughout your session. Find out more

Update the “prospect” metadata based on the lead qualification form when capturing leads

When scanning prospective leads onsite at conventions, you can now enrich the lead profile based on input provided into the lead qualification form.

This can be useful in cases where key information is not initially available when scanning a lead. The entire/complete profile can later be synchronized to the integrated CRM. Find out more

Badge editor enhancements for the Onsite event check-in and badge printing module

While editing your badges, you can now preview your badge designs to ensure that everything looks as it should. 

Additionally, you can now insert foreground images such as logos in the badge editor, and use enhanced arrangement tools to easily position items on the badge. Find out more

Customize the Pending registrations list based on your needs

When you are managing your pending event registrations or the event registration waitlist, you need to have easy access to certain registrant information in order to efficiently decide whether or not to approve a registration.

With this in mind, you can now customize the Pending registrations list, by choosing what fields/columns will be displayed in the list, where the columns will be positioned in the list, as well as the width of the columns. Find out more

Embedded registration pages now support UTM tracking

We have adjusted the user experience in Backstage, so that if needed you can now copy a snippet of iframe embed code that supports UTM parameters directly from Backstage. 

By providing this code to the website team and adding it to the website, you can identify where visitors came from when they accessed the URL. Find out more

Adjustment made to refreshing user attendance statuses

We have adjusted the behavior of the Refresh attendance status button. The attendance status can only be refreshed every 30 minutes. If the data cannot be refreshed (because it was refreshed less than 30 minutes ago), the Refresh attendance status button is disabled.

Additional information on batched emails when sending campaigns to a single domain

When sending an email campaign to over 500 recipients from the same organization (using the same email domain), Backstage will now display a note indicating that it will send out the emails in batches in order to optimize email deliverability.

New comments now highlighted when returning to reviewed documents

To facilitate document reviews, all new comments added to the document by other users, since the user's last visit, are now easily identifiable in the app when returning to the document. This is only applicable to documents with public annotations enabled.

Deleted comments no longer included in reports for PDF document reviews with public annotations enabled.

Document reports will no longer include any comments that were deleted in the documents. Deleted comments will however still be listed in the Public annotations list in Backstage for reference of all comments if necessary.

SpotMe API now includes PDF annotations data

A new PDF annotations endpoint is now available so that PDF document annotation data can be accessed and exchanged via API.

Adjustments made to how and when digest summaries are sent

Adjustments made to ensure that once enabled, digest summaries are only sent out while the event is ongoing, and only if the workspace is in "Production" status. Find out more
