To better meet compliance requirements for life science events, and in particular for the display of PI (Prescribing Information) and AER (Adverse Event Reporting) information in our app, you can now add customized headers and footers to your apps. Find out more

Appointments module - improved support for creating and and managing “external” participants

Representatives and meeting planners can now invite external attendees that are already pre-uploaded to the workspace, or create and add new ones directly using the web or mobile app when creating a meeting.
To note, external attendees are saved in a “External participants” section in the Appointments module.
They are not added to the workspace Users list, and do not have access to the app.

Available starting January 15, 2025. Please update the Appointments module to the latest available version to see these changes, and make sure that your event is using the latest versions of the mobile apps.

Optimized workspace settings page in Backstage

The web app settings tab has been removed. The remaining settings that are relevant to Backstage users have been moved to the General workspace settings tab and the App preferences tab. Find out more

Better calculation for live session poll response rates

Response rates for polls have been adjusted to ensure that the calculated participation rate corresponds exactly to the total number of unique poll responses that are received compared to the full number of live session attendees. Find out more

Added attendee ID to the event check-in and  attendance tracking reports

To help identify attendees in reports, we have added the attendee IDs (fp_ext_id) to the Attendance tracking report (User summary and User details sheets) and the Event check-in report (Event attendance, Day attendance, and Session summary sheets).

Visibility of the hybrid live session "Stream" tab for enabling and disabling the stream in the app

We have adjusted how the "Stream" tab is displayed in the apps: it now remains visible and is only hidden once the VOD is published. If the VOD never gets published, the Stream tab remains displayed. More information
